I recently went to puri and chilka for a short trip. Puri is located on the eastern coast of India, and faces the Bay of Bengal. It is one of the four spiritual places in India, and herein lies the adobe of Lord Jagganath. The annual car festival of Lord Jagannath in puri causes a lot of people to come and worship their diety .

Just a few miles from puri lies Chilka Lake. This lake is a fresh water lake and is connected to the sea through a small inlet channel called as "sea mouth". At sea mouth one can find a sand bar that separates the lake from sea. The lake is primarily used for fishing purposes, mainly shrimps . one can also find irrawaddy dolphins in Chilka.

Following are some of the pictures from that trip -
