ipod upgrade

I finally got my ipod touch updated to have the new apps for 10$. Some of the apps are really good - mail client and weather report. Now i still have 0.42$ left in my account and there is nothing in itunes store that i can buy with this amount. It is also not letting me change the store as i have some money left in it... so i am stuck. maybe i need to create another account and then use it for july software upgrade :(
